The Fargo Flyers Squirt International Hockey Tournament
is in it's If you want pure, exciting, love of the sport hockey, this is the place!!!! We begin the excitement at 5:30 P.M. on Thursday, February 24th at the Urban Plains Center with the spectacle, color, thrills and excitement of the Play It Again Sports Squirt Olympics Skills Competition with its Spectacular Parade of Teams. This is a photographic and video media dream opportunity, where all the players gather to skate on one sheet of ice to receive the recognition of their families and fans, and later participate in skill and timed events. Mom and Dad don't forget the camera! The competition, pin trading, camaraderie and fun continue, non-stop, throughout the weekend. Ten arenas (15 rinks) are needed to get it all in! We end this great weekend with the action packed, edge of your seat, excitement of the Tournament Championship Games on Sunday, February 27 at 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM at the Urban Plains Center. A must see event with all the color, pageantry and excitement of an NHL championship game. It is estimated that 7500 admissions will be made to the nine venues, with 2500 to 3000 fans in attendance at the Urban Plains Center on Championship game day alone. The more than 2000 skaters and coaches, along with their families, and let's not forget the thousands of fans, attend this great 3 day tournament because they know the quality of tournament competition, arenas and staff, along with, hotels, restaurants and shopping in Fargo and Moorhead are of the highest caliber. This is a great community, regional and national event and an event for the entire family to enjoy--you will not be disappointed! River Valley Region from across the United States and Canada for our
3-day Tournament. Started in 1985 as an 8 team local tournament the Fargo
Flyers Squirt International Hockey Tournament has grown in
stature and reputation across the country to be know as the
"Worlds Greatest Squirt Hockey Tournament". Randy
Bowman, Head Coach of the West Valley Wolves of North Hills,
California, put it very well " to play the best of the best,
come to the best of the best". Each team is guaranteed
5 games.
Medals are awarded to all participants and team trophies are awarded
to the top three teams and consolation champions in the

tournament brackets, along with traveling trophies to the
'A' & 'B' Division tournament champion teams.
